mise en scene blog task

 


1) Find a distinctive still image and write an analysis of the mise-en-scene. Use each of the aspects you've learned in the lesson.



Costume : The character on the right is wearing professional clothing while the character isn't which could imply that he is his mentor . An imbalance of Power

Actor : Both Characters Are sat next to each other and smiling implying they have a close relationship

Lighting : low key lighting at the bottom and with their clothing 

Setting : Outdoor on a bench connotes having a deep conversation with someone 








2) Find TWO film or TV extracts on YouTube from different genres (e.g. horror, sci-fi, costume drama). Embed them in your blogpost and write a comparison of the mise-en-scene in each.
